NMC believes in a team approach to clinical care. Your physician leads a team of Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses to provide medical care for you. NMC also utilizes highly trained Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to assist in your evaluation and treatment. Each of these clinicians works under the direct supervision of your Medical Director.
Your physician is your partner for health and wellness. He or she performs your medical evaluation and with your participation sets up and implements a treatment or intervention plan. Your nurse will play an essential role in caring for you – from simple procedures such as giving an injection to providing medical advice and follow-up care on the phone. Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are highly trained medical specialists that work in direct collaboration with the Medical Director and will often play a large role in your care experience.
At NMC, we all work together to provide the best care available for you and your family.
Your comfort, security, safety and health are our top priorities, so we work to provide the safest health care environment so that our patients can benefit from reduction in infection rates, chance of clinic-acquired injuries, medical mistakes all while achieving improved health outcomes.
For NMC physicians and staff, respecting patients means involving them in care decisions, and protecting their right to privacy. (HIPAA)
When you’re a patient at NMC, our goal is, to the extent possible, completely involve you in your treatment and recovery. We encourage you to take an active role in your health care. This makes the healing process a more positive one for patients and their families.
NMC is committed to continually improving patient satisfaction and, therefore, we value and welcome your feedback. Please feel free to provide comments after your visit. We constantly seek feedback from our patients and their families in order to improve the overall patient experience.
